Job Marketplace Terms

These terms apply to the job marketplace, where customers and operators post journeys and licensed drivers and operators bid to carry them. They sit alongside our Terms & Conditions and Driver terms.

Customers

• Posting a journey is free and does not commit you to book.
• You choose the bid you want. The price shown is the full price you pay.
• Your contact details are only shared with the driver or operator you choose, after payment.
• Cancellations and refunds follow our standard Terms & Conditions.

Drivers and operators

• Only approved, licensed drivers and operators with valid insurance may bid.
• A bid is a firm price. If chosen, you must carry the job or arrange an approved replacement.
• Trident Taxis keeps a fee of 10% plus £1 on every job won. On card jobs this is taken before payout; on cash jobs it is added to the Monday bill.
• Operators posting their own overflow jobs must have the right to pass that work on.

Payments

Card payments go through Stripe. If Stripe is unavailable, payment may be taken by Worldpay, which adds 5% plus 5p to that payment; the higher total is shown before you pay.

Fair use

Fake posts, fake bids or contacting customers to avoid the fee lead to removal from the marketplace. Questions: hire@tridenttaxis.com.
